Hope When Life Feels Heavy
Biblical hope is not pretending life is easy. It is confidence that God remains present and the story is not finished.

THE STRUGGLE
There are seasons when hope feels less like confidence and more like a decision not to give up. Scripture points us away from the size of our strength and toward the character of God. We can be honest about darkness while still refusing to call darkness final.
READ THE WORD
It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God.
REFLECT
- What feels final right now that may actually be a chapter?
- What evidence of God’s faithfulness can I remember from another season?
A SIMPLE PRAYER
God of hope, meet me in the heaviness. Give me enough light for the next step, enough strength for today, and enough faith to believe that You are still at work. Amen.
